Two instructors. A digital storytelling class. Challenges. Successes. Advice. Examples.

Last week, my good friend and colleague Dr. Tony O’Keeffe and I gave a talk at a conference here in Louisville (Celebration of Teaching and Learning, organized by the UofL Delphi Center and Graduate School). We had the privilege of being introduced by my dissertation director, Debra Journet. Tony and I spend most of the talk reflecting on the challenges and successes we encountered along with our students in a Digital Storytelling class we designed and taught a year ago. I started the audio late (still not used to using my H4n. Rats.) so you don’t get to hear Debra’s introduction or the first 20 seconds of Tony’s initial comments. Alas. Below, I’ve included our discussion, and then embedded the student video the audience watched, then more discussion, then the other student video we showed, and our closing discussion.

We’d love to see any feedback you might want to provide. Thanks.
